This camp will take place in Leuven/Belgium from the 25th to the 30th of May 2025.
We have 25 hours of technique and 15 hours of open mat during the week, spread over 6 days. All no-gi classes.
All experience levels and affiliations are welcome.
Modern leglock camp
All the classes at camp will be filmed. And participants get access to these video's. So you can get the most out of the high level instructions and add every detail to your game.
The camp
Modern leglock camp will focus on the new developments in the leglock game. The straight ankle lock, Aoki lock etc and how to ty them into your heelhook game and vice versa. And new positions that have been developed like the z-lock, double 50 as well as updates to the already established positions.
Eoghan o'Flanagan
Eoghan is most known globally for having competed and coming 4th in the world in the biggest grappling show of all time, ADCC 2022. He had a “breakout performance” and was touted as an “ADCC standout competitor”, which marked him as the best-performing English male competitor of all time.
In 2017, at the age of 22, he was awarded his black belt by the highly respected Helio Soneca.
Eoghan is widely known for his submission
oriented style and being one of the best leglockers in the game.
Jon Calestine
Jon Calestine is a jiu-jitsu black belt under Daisuke Yamaji of the Renzo Gracie Fight Academy, having also worked extensively with Tony B, Eddie Cummings, and John Danaher. Widely regarded as one of the top 145 pound grapplers of his generation in the submission only professional grappling circuit, Calestine is best known for his wins at the Eddie Bravo Invitational, Onnit Invitational, Sapateiro Invitational, and Finishers Sub-Only.
Leuven is a small city, so you can do everything on foot. Parking however is expensive, so if possible, leave your car at home.

If you are looking for accomodation during the camp, we can recommend Condo gardens Leuven. It's clean, quite and affordable. And close to the training venue. Prices for one week range from 285€ to 530€.

LOCATION
Leuven, being both a trading centre in the Middle Ages and having a world-renowned university since 1425, has always been a wealthy city. Which you can see in its beautiful buildings.
Apart from that, it also has one of the biggest breweries in the world and beer is and always has been a part of the Leuven culture.
Combine that with a lot of university students and you have a vibrant city with parties every night.
